Idlewild Park and Soak Zone is a one-of-a-kind park complex nestled in a densely wooded valley just outside the small town of Ligonier, PA. The unique collection of themed areas, attractions for all ages, and laid back atmosphere all combine to create an incredible park experience.

The Wild Mouse features a lift tilted to the right at a 5 degree angle.  When it operated at the Prater, a spinning tunnel once enclosed the lift.
The Caterpiller is another classic amusement device.  Created by Harry Traver, Idlewild's unit is one of two remaining in the United States, and the only one left with the under carriage fan.
Love the 1920s school of ride design.  These things are as interesting to look at as they are to ride.
As any carousel has to have a lead horse, the caterpillar needs a lead too.
Idlewild's Super Round up is yet another transplant from Kennywood.
