Mark Rosenzweig (whispers)  > Travel > Morey's Piers and the Wildwood, NJ Boardwalk
Come on "down the shore" to experience America's answer to Pleasure Beach, Blackpool. Morey's Piers operates 3 ride parks and 2 waterparks on 3 piers built out over the expansive 1/4 mile wide Wildwood Beach. This is amusement chaos at its best. It's easy to theme a section around a boardwalk. It's another thing to actually be on a boardwalk with all of the sights, sounds, and scents overwhelming the senses.

Mark Rosenzweig (whispers) > Sea Serpent and Giant Wheel tower over Mariner's Landing. Great White can be seen in the backround. While it may appear to be a part of the same pier, it's actually 1/4 mile south of Mariner's Landing on Morey's Adventure Pier.
Mark Rosenzweig (whispers) > In this classic view from the pier's entrance, the Giant Wheel frames the scene.
Mark Rosenzweig (whispers) > Pirates of Wildwood is a tongue-in-cheek budgeted knock off of the Disney original, but feels right at home on Mariner's Landing. It utilizes a modern day old mill conveyance system.
Mark Rosenzweig (whispers) > Mariner's Landing's massive Giant Wheel towers 150 ft above the pier and features 40 six seater gondolas.

Mark Rosenzweig (whispers) > The Great Nor'easter anchors Morey's Surfside Pier. This was the original pier in Morey's empire, opening in 1969. The Great Nor'easter opened in 1995, and is a slightly modified version of Vekoma's Suspended Looping Coaster model.
