September 18, 2007 marked the unofficial end to Williams Grove Amusement Park in Mechanicsburg, PA. Norton Auctioneers (
http://www.nortonauctioneers.com) were on hand to sell the park's remaining rides and attractions to the highest bidders. Not included in the auction were the wood coaster, pretzel dark ride, or in house waterslides. Anyway, pictures will tell most of the story....
Like many of the European spectaculars at Williams Grove, the Grand Prix Bumper Cars operated at several different locations before retiring at Williams Grove. The huge building and all of its contents went for a whopping $2,000.
